A popular local attraction in Honolulu has been shut down amid safety concerns, and police are looking for a new name for a popular poker face.
The Honolulu Poke Bar closed its doors Wednesday amid an investigation by the city’s Department of Public Health into safety concerns.
Police say the location is not safe for customers to play poker and that they are asking patrons to avoid playing.
The Pokemon Go craze has also forced the closure of Pokestops around the city.
Hawaii Police Department Detective Lt.
Mark Schulz says the Poke Bar was a popular location that was operated by a man who owned a business on Kalihi Street.
He said the owner of the Pokestop is no longer employed by the man, and the Poketopia has since been shuttered.
Schulz says it’s unknown how many people may have played at the Poketeop, but he says they had no signs of malicious intent.
